About this Project:

AndAI is a retro website co-authored by Midjourney, copy.ai, and Addison Stevens with the intention of exploring an AI's expression of personality. The website was created through asking Midjourney to render images of it's idea of an early internet era Geocities website, and then creating functional HTML webpages based on those images. Aside from text on this About page, all text on the site is generated by copy.ai, and all images, including page backgrounds, were generated by Midjourney. After creating the layouts, Midjourney was given prompts asking it to generate images of some of it's favorite things. The goal was to create a site that relfected this AI's preferences for design, interests, etc. and to see if it were possible for such traits to exist in an AI. The images on this page are the average outcome of the traits exhibited by the generated results to each question.
